Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2015
Applications are invited from Male and Female from Indian Citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955
for the following courses commencing in July 2016 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying
Branch and Permanent / Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :-Age: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2016 i.e. Born between 02 July 1992 to 01 July 1996 (Both Dates
inclusive). (Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by
DGCA (India) is relax able upto 26 years i.e. Born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1996 (Both dates
inclusive).
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:- Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from
a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together
and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a
recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :- Candidates will be selected based on the performance in AFCAT & Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (for candidates applied for technical branch only) followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Test and Interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System), Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).

Last Date to Apply Online: 23-07-2015.
Date of AFCAT & EKT Exam: 13-09-2015 (Sunday).
Date of Course Commencing: July 2016.
